Piano Two was created for intermediate piano players to take their playing to the next level. You can skip Piano One and go directly into Piano Two, if you're comfortable with left and right hand technique, familiar with the keyboard, and have a basic understanding of theory, then this course is for you. By the end of the course you will comfortable playing numerous styles all by ear. It is perfect for the classical pianist that wants to go from being tied to the notes, to being able to sit down and play any song they hear without having to practice or memorize music.

Meet Your Instructor!
Hi! I'm Kelsey! I first started taking classical piano lessons at six years old, and I hated it. Piano seemed boring, and one of my teachers thought I was so hopeless she threatened to quit. Then three years into my piano career, I discovered playing by ear, and suddenly piano made sense! I couldn't get enough.
I've lead worship for congregations of thousands. Recorded multiple albums, played weddings, led bands, and performed solo shows. Learning how piano worked, instead of copying exact notes, made me fall in love with music.
The only thing that tops my passion for playing, is the past seven years of teaching hundreds of students. Within just weeks, my students go from never playing a note, to being capable of playing dozens of songs. I accredit their fast progress to making music fun, and showing them that understanding how music is made makes anything possible. With the same simple foundation, you can play Worship to Broadway, Ragtime to Jazz and all styles in-between with just a few tweaks!

FAQs
When does the course start and finish?
The course starts now and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish. You will receive one lesson per week to encourage consistency but once the lesson is released you always have access to it.
How long do I have access to the course?
Voetberg Music Academy is a subscription based online academy. You will have access to this course on any and all devices you own and will be charged monthly as long as you are subscribed to the course.
What age-range is this course directed at?
We recommend this course for anyone 8 years old to 108 years old. However, depending on how involved you want to be as a parent, this course can be very good for children younger than 8.
Should I start with Piano 1 or 2?
Piano 2 is great if you already have experience playing the piano, and are looking to either add playing by ear to your repertoire OR looking to take your playing to the next level! Join Piano 1 to start from square one . . . Piano 1 moves quickly and you jumps straight into Piano 2 after 12 weeks.
